Removes an existing payment by ID.
Use this operation when the payment should no longer remain active or available for payment. Removal does not mean a chargeback, refund, or return of amounts already paid.
If the payment was generated by a subscription or installment, removing it individually does not end the source resource or automatically remove the other linked payments.
A removed payment can be restored with summary data in the response, keeping the same ID, as long as it is in a state that allows restoration.
The PAYMENT_DELETED event reports the removal of the payment and can be used to keep your integration in sync.
