Asaas Split on Pluga

The Payment Split feature in Asaas allows you to automatically divide the amount of a charge among different accounts or wallets. Below, you’ll find a step-by-step guide on how to set up this feature without any programming required.

Prerequisites

1. An Asaas account.
2. A Pluga account (automation platform).
3. A Google Sheet (or another tool) as the data source for the charges.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Prepare Your Data Source

   1. Use a spreadsheet with key information such as: customer name, charge amount, due date, and Wallet IDs (if splitting with wallets).

   2. Organize the data into three pillars:

      1. Customer information (name, email, phone);
      2. Order details (amount, due date);
      3. Wallets (Wallet ID and amounts).

2. Create a Pluga Account

   1. Go to the Pluga website and sign up (you can use the freemium plan).
   2. If you already have an account, just log in.

3. Set Up the Automation in Pluga

   1. On the Pluga dashboard, click Create automation.
   2. Name your automation, for example: Payment Split.
   3. Select your data source tool (in this example, Google Sheets).

4. Select the Spreadsheet and Define the Trigger

   1. Choose the spreadsheet and tab containing the charge data.
   2. Define which column, once filled, will trigger the automation to generate the charge in Asaas.

5. Connect Your Asaas Account

   1. Select Asaas as the destination tool.
   2. Choose the action, such as Generate charge.
   3. Connect your Asaas account by entering the integration token available in your Asaas dashboard.

6. Sync Information Between Spreadsheet and Asaas

   1. Map the spreadsheet fields to the required fields in Asaas, such as customer name, charge amount, due date, etc.
   2. You can set a fixed value for all charges, or use variable data from the spreadsheet.

7. Enable Payment Split

   1. In the Payment Split option, check I want to split the payment.

   2. Choose between splitting the payment with:

      1. Registered subaccounts (must already be linked to the main account);
      2. Wallet IDs (wallet identifiers used for value division).

   3. Define the number of subaccounts or wallets that will receive part of the payment.

8. Define the Subaccounts or Wallets

   1. If you chose Registered subaccounts, select the subaccount and specify the amount (fixed or percentage).
   2. If you’re using Wallet IDs, enter the wallet IDs directly or import them from the spreadsheet.

9. Finalize the Automation

   1. After configuring all fields, click Continue and then Finish automation.
   2. From now on, whenever a row is filled in the spreadsheet, a charge with payment split will automatically be generated in Asaas.
