Initial settings

Configuring the module

After completing the installation of the Asaas module in Nuvemshop, it is possible to configure the payment methods and adjust rules that directly influence the customer shopping experience.

These settings determine how payments will be displayed at checkout and impact installments, discounts, and charge behavior.

When to perform these settings

The initial settings should be performed after installing and activating the Asaas module in Nuvemshop.

This step is recommended for stores that want to:

  • offer payments via Pix, bank slip, and credit card;
  • provide credit card installments;
  • apply discounts by payment method;
  • customize the customer payment experience.

Requirements

Before configuring the payment methods, it is necessary that:

  • the Asaas module is already installed;
  • the integration is active;
  • the Asaas account is correctly configured;
  • the API Key has already been provided during installation;
  • the store is able to use external payment methods.

Without these conditions, the settings described on this page will not be available.

Accessing the settings

In the Nuvemshop administrative panel, go to:

Settings > Payment Methods

At this point, Asaas should appear as the store's primary payment method.

If you want to make additional adjustments, click Edit on the Asaas module.

Available settings

Minimum installment amount

Defines the minimum amount allowed for each installment in credit card payments.

This setting directly influences the installment options presented to the customer.

For example:

  • an order worth R$ 60.00 with a minimum installment amount of R$ 20.00 will allow up to 3 installments;
  • if the configured minimum amount is higher, the number of available installments may be reduced.

Discounts by payment method

It is possible to configure specific discounts for each payment method.

The available options are:

  • credit card;
  • bank slip;
  • Pix.

These discounts are applied when the customer selects the payment method during checkout.

Important behaviors

The settings configured directly influence the checkout behavior.

Some examples:

  • changes to the minimum installment amount may modify the number of installments shown to the customer;
  • different discounts may change the final purchase amount;
  • settings are reflected in future sales made by the store;
  • payments will continue to be processed through the Asaas account linked to the module.

Operational impacts

The configured rules may affect:

  • customer experience during checkout;
  • final purchase amount;
  • sales financial reconciliation;
  • revenue analysis;
  • commercial strategies related to discounts and installments.

For this reason, it is recommended to review the settings before making them available to customers.
